Research applications

What Wolverine is studied for.

A research-use blend of BPC-157 (a 15-amino-acid gastric-derived peptide) and TB-500 (a Thymosin β4 fragment), studied together across the following preclinical and in-vitro research areas.

Tendon & ligament repair

Studied in preclinical and in-vitro research for connective-tissue repair — BPC-157 for angiogenesis, TB-500 for cell migration.

Wound healing

Studied in preclinical and in-vitro research for wound closure and tissue recovery across both peptides.

Gut & systemic repair

Studied in preclinical and in-vitro research for gut-lining integrity and systemic-repair signalling.

Tissue flexibility & regeneration

Studied in preclinical and in-vitro research for actin regulation, tissue flexibility and regeneration.

Research & mechanism

The science behind Wolverine

Wolverine pairs two of the most-studied tissue-repair peptides in one vial: BPC-157, a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric protective protein, and TB-500, a synthetic fragment of Thymosin β4. In research the two are studied for complementary repair signalling — BPC-157 for angiogenesis, growth-factor upregulation and collagen synthesis (COL1A1/COL3A1, the VEGFR2/FAK-paxillin pathway, and the gut–brain BDNF axis), and TB-500 for actin sequestration (ACTB/ACTG1), cell migration and tissue flexibility. Together they are examined across tendon, ligament, gut, cardiac and wound-healing models.

The two peptides are studied as complementary mechanisms — BPC-157 driving vascular and growth-factor signalling, TB-500 driving actin dynamics and cell migration — not as a single characterised compound.

Handling · research use

Reconstitution & storage.

General laboratory handling reference for lyophilized peptides. Always follow your institution's protocols.

Step 01

Equilibrate

Let the sealed vial reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation.

Step 02

Add solvent

Slowly add bacteriostatic water down the vial wall — never directly onto the powder.

Step 03

Dissolve gently

Swirl, don't shake. Let it go fully clear; avoid foaming or vortexing.

Step 04

Store cold

Refrigerate the reconstituted solution at 2–8°C; minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Concentration, made simple.

Concentration (mg/mL) = vial mass (mg) ÷ solvent added (mL). Use this to plan your working dilutions for in-vitro research.

10 mg ÷ 2 mL  =  5.0 mg/mL
10 mg ÷ 5 mL  =  2.0 mg/mL

What is Wolverine?
Wolverine is a research-use blend of two tissue-repair peptides in one lyophilized vial — BPC-157 (a gastric-derived pentadecapeptide) and TB-500 (a Thymosin β4 fragment). It is studied for their complementary repair signalling. It is sold strictly for laboratory research, not for human use.
How is purity verified?
This lot (TR-4339222) is independently tested by an accredited U.S. lab using UPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity of each component. The batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is included free and downloadable above.
Is there a recommended dosage?
No. There is no established human dose for Wolverine or either of its components, and this page provides none. These compounds are supplied for laboratory research only — any handling is determined by the qualified researcher's own protocol and applicable regulations, never as a human dosing recommendation.
What's the best way to store it?
Lyophilized peptides are stable at room temperature short-term and best stored desiccated at −20°C long-term. Once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2–8°C and minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
How fast does it ship?
Orders placed before 2 PM ET are dispatched the same day (otherwise the next business day). DHL Max standard shipping arrives in 3 business days or better, and FedEx 2-Day Air is available at checkout except for Hawaii. Lyophilized research compounds are stable at room temperature, so cold shipping isn't required. All orders ship discreetly with free shipment protection.
Is this for human use?
No. Wolverine is sold strictly for research, laboratory and educational purposes only. It is not approved for human consumption, veterinary use, or any therapeutic application. By purchasing you confirm you are a qualified researcher and will comply with all applicable laws.
